Sad News....

Hello Everyone
 
The family of one of our long standing tennis players, Mike Gale, has just told me that he sadly passed away on Monday night.  He had been in hospital for a week with a chest infection and pneumonia on top of lung cancer.  He died peacefully in his sleep having spent time with his family.  Mike was very well known for his favourite phrase on court of "it's only a game!"  He will be missed by many.

His daughter, Vikki, will be sending me details of the funeral, please let me know if you would like the details when I get them.  (I will automatically forward them to the Tuesday/Thursday morning groups).
