Tennis
We have nine artificial clay outdoor courts for use from 8am until 9.30pm all week round. Four courts are floodlit, allowing for play until 9.30pm Monday to Saturday.
The tennis section accommodates all standards of play, from those who want to compete to those who prefer to play socially. We participate in local, county and national competitions, from junior through to veteran categories.
We receive an allocation of Wimbledon tickets that the LTA assign to members. To be eligible to enter this you have to be a playing member of the club and join the LTA and opt in to the ballet when instructed by the LTA.
Adult Tennis
Naturally there are many groups of players who play for the pure fun of it, and it’s lovely to see them on the courts week after week, enjoying a game of tennis and then putting the world to rights afterwards in the lounge with a coffee. Long may that last!
We run an Adult Club Night on Wednesdays throughout the year from 6.30 pm to 9.30pm and on Saturdays from 2-4pm which is open to all adult tennis members and is run by one of our coaches.
