20th December - a heartfelt message from William:

I’m overwhelmed with the response from club members and now the club itself.

Though your combined efforts 125 generators will be leaving China in early Jan for Gdańsk and I will be seeing to them being distributed to various locations in Ukraine. If donations continue to come in it may be possible to dispatch a second consignment.

I’d like to thank you all very much for your help and donations and wish you and one and all a happy and peaceful Christmas.

Let’s all hope for a better 2023

6th December - an update from William:

Hi Everyone

Please see an update from William Lewis, squash player, on his charitable visits to Ukraine:

I am on a mission to help Ukraine. As you know, I am committed to make a difference and help where I can. There is so much need and not enough is being done to help the people of Ukraine. I am appealing to you all for help.

I have just returned from my 4th mission to help Ukraine. On this trip I delivered 26 much-needed generators. I am so grateful for all the generous contributions so far, rest assured, they are now doing the life-saving job for which they were intended.

I have to tell you, that this was the most disturbing journey to Ukraine so far. The temperatures were close to freezing and to reach Lviv and deliver the generators, I drove through village after village in total darkness, with no power and no heat.

I would like to appeal to those of you who have not contributed yet, to think again.

My next mission is to source and fund a container load of generators for Ukraine. I am sourcing them through my godson, Lewis Jones. Lewis is based in Australia and experienced in trading with China. I need your help now more than ever. If you haven’t donated yet, I need you now.
