DETAILS:
We are pleased to let you know that we we will be running a junior tournament/event in conjuction with Wimbledon for 8 & under reds/9 & under oranges/10 & under greens on Sunday 16th July 2023 from 1215pm-2pm. £5 for members, £10 for non members.
Our aim this year is to give our juniors more opportunities to play competitively and look forward to you guys supporting our events as much as you can to make them a big success and fun experience for the players.
The events we will be running are the following:
U8s mixed red tournament – 8 or younger this year - round robin (timed)
U9s mixed orange tournament – 9 or younger this year - round robin (timed)
U10s mixed green tournament – 10 or younger this year - round robin (timed)
There will also be a chance for you to play with your kids too (if you up to it!)
To sign up:
Please email Brian/Tracey at dorkingtennis@gmail.com to book on with name, age and which event you would like to book on. Bring payment on the day.
Obviously events will run depending on the number of entries.
Schedule
· 12pm arrival, welcome, sign up
· 1215pm – tournament start
· 2pm ish – tournament ends, refreshments & watch Wimbledon Mens Final
Parents to bring cakes/biscuits
Bar open for drinks from 12pm
Don't worry we will keep reminding you leading up to the event by email or whatsapp.
Look forward to a great afternoon of tennis with the kids followed by the pros!
