Open Day Thanks

Open Day & U8/U9/U10 Junior Tournament
    
 

Hi everyone
 
We had a fantastic open day on Saturday and in-spite of the weather forecast there was a really good turnout. The coaches and a team of junior helpers were out on court for over 3 hours encouraging new members of all ages and levels to get involved and play tennis. I had so many comments throughout the day about how enjoyable the event had been and how inspired their kids were by the help they had received from our young helpers.

We wanted to put a special mention out to Maisie Carter, Naomi Lister, Seth Lister, Isaac Lister, George Alborough, Harvey Steer, Charlie Steer, Jemima Collins, Jamie Bartlett and Dom Farrant, you were absolutely brilliant!

Your help was really appreciated by all, and you demonstrated what a friendly and supportive club we have. Thank you for all your hard work. We hope to see lots of new members joining the junior program in September. 
 
The under 8's, 9's, 10's tournament went ahead on Sunday, conditions were tough in the wind, so well done to all who took part and thanks to Brian and Nicky for running this with such enthusiasm as always and making it a really fun afternoon. A special well done to the winners of each age group

Our new club kit is looking very smart and is now available to buy at club night on Friday so grab yours this week at the last session before we break up for the summer.
 
There will be a US open tournament for the U12, U14, U18's on the 10th September along with some social tennis sessions to kick off the new year so we hope to see lots of you there, look out for how to book onto these over the coming weeks.
