Hi Everyone,
It's that time of year again. The Jackson-Stops/GRACE Winter Tennis Tournament is about to start.
Jackson-Stops/GRACE has become the de-facto DLTSC Winter Doubles Tournament and having had a very successful tournament and Finals Day last year, we're hoping, and expecting, that we'll have lots of entries with as many of you as possible, entering this year.
The tournament is open to all adult players and we welcome those new to the club and those who are seasoned club players. Proceeds from the tournament, plus any additional donations, will be provided to GRACE https://grace-charity.org.uk/ ; each entry is £10.
The format this year will be;
- Ladies Doubles
- Mens' Doubles
- Mixed Doubles
You can enter multiple events and will be randomly paired so it's a great way to get to know new people and mix up your usual playing groups so you can test your playing with, and against, different styles.
Matches will be 2 sets (with Championship Tie break in 3rd).
Note: for those not playing or for those wishing to donate more than their entry fee, donations can still be made (see below).
What are the key dates?
- You will need to complete the online registration form link by 18th September 2023 and transfer your entry fee
- The draw will be published w/c 2nd October 2023
- Matches will need to be played by 16th March 2024
- Finals day will be on 23rd March 2024
What do you need to do next?
- Confirm that you are around for finals day on 23rd March and available to play several matches between 2nd October 2023 and 16th March 2024
- Decide whether you want to enter Ladies / Mens' Doubles and / or Mixed Doubles

- Contact Martin Ferrett for bank details to transfer your entry fee (£10/20) Please include your surname as your reference. [Please use the same details for additional donations]
- Wait and see who you've been partnered with w/c 2nd October 2023
- Book your matches and play!
- Enjoy and have fun (and keep updating your scores)
- Keep finals day free (23rd March 2024)
