Euros 2024 England Semi-Final - Wednesday 10th July 8pm

I am not sure whose idea it was to stage both Wimbledon and the Euros football tournament at the same time, but sadly they are both on together and crucially England are still in the football tournament, and sadly there are no Brits left in the Wimbledon singles!
 
I mentioned in a previous email that we hoped to show all of the England football matches and so far we have managed that. So, if you still have any fingernails left to bite their next game is on Wednesday at 8pm.
 
We had a fantastic atmosphere at the club on Saturday for the quarter final match (with a few sore heads on Sunday!!) so, I expect it will be similar for the semi-final.
 
Therefore, I would like to apologise to any tennis fans (particularly ones that don’t follow football) hoping to watch tennis that the club TV will be showing the football semi-final on Wednesday.

It is also possible that there might be a demand to watch the other football semi-final on Tuesday at 8pm, but as this involves Spain and France I would hope that an amicable solution could be found on the night.
 
If England do qualify for the final on Sunday at 8pm the bar will definitely open so you can watch it at the club. If they don’t and members still want to watch the final at the club please let me know and if enough of you are interested I will try and arrange for the bar to open anyway.
