Coaching Tip of the Week

Obviously it is important to watch the ball in tennis, especially all the way onto your strings... But it is important when your opponent is about to hit the ball you are also looking at them and how they are hitting the ball..

  • Are they balanced?
  • Are they stretching?
  • Is their racket angled a certain way?
  • How is their body language?
  • Where are they on court?

These thoughts can really help you anticipate quicker and give you a better chance with your next shot.

Quote of the Week

Knowledge is knowing tomato is a fruit
Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad

Things I've Thought about This Week

  • Warming to Pickleball
  • Elite athletes are unbelievable
  • Definitely better slice backhand hitting a little closer to the body
  • Is there such a thing as work/life balance or do you need to just do more things you enjoy?
  • Can't believe owls don't have eyeballs
  • Can't believe a male swine can orgasm for over 30 minutes! (Animal valentines fact!)

Valentine's Day today... Good luck with the romance everyone

Look forward to seeing you all at the club.. Have a good week.
